After a lengthy break from ODI cricket, Bangladesh have brought back some experienced players for the upcoming three-match series against Ireland Women.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the squad on Monday, with Jahanara Alam and Sharmin Akhter making a return to the team after a long absence. Taz Nehar, who debuted in T20s, has also earned her maiden ODI call-up.
The squad sees four changes from the previous series against Australia in March. Alongside Jahanara and Sharmin, left-arm spinner Sanjida Akter Meghla has also been recalled.
Dropped from the squad are Disha Biswas, Sumaiya Akhter, Nishita Akhter, and Fargana Hoque Liza.
The ODI series is set to begin on November 27 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
