The latest rankings, released by the ICC, also highlight improvements for Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who has jumped nine places to secure 23rd in the ODI bowling rankings.
Additionally, Miraz has risen to fourth place in the all-rounder rankings, with Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi maintaining the top spot.
Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi received recognition for his stellar performances in the recent series against Australia. Afridi reclaimed the top position in the ODI bowling rankings, overtaking South Africa's spinner Keshav Maharaj.
Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan remains in second place, while Pakistan’s Haris Rauf made a massive leap of 14 places to reach 13th.
Babar Azam continues his reign as the No. 1 ODI batter. The Pakistan captain's consistent performances in the recent Australia series, where he scored 80 runs while being dismissed just once, further solidified his position at the top.
In the T20I rankings, England’s Liam Livingstone remains the top-ranked all-rounder, while Adil Rashid leads the bowling charts. Sri Lanka’s spinner Wanindu Hasaranga climbed four places to secure the second spot among T20I bowlers.
