Mickey Arthur has been announced as the head coach of Rangur Riders for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) season, marking his second stint in the tournament. He previously coached Dhaka Dynamites during the 2015-16 season.
In addition to Arthur's appointment, the team has made notable signings, including Pakistan's Iftikhar Ahmed and Khushdil Shah through direct contracts.
Among the local players, they have secured Mohammad Saifuddin, one of the top performers from the last BPL season, and retained Nurul Hasan Sohan and Sheikh Mahedi.
The team also made an impact in the draft by picking domestic cricket regulars such as Rakibul Hasan, Rejaur Rahman Raja, and Irfan Sukkur.
National team stars like Saif Hasan and Soumya Sarkar are also part of the squad. Overall, the team is gearing up to compete for the championship in this season’s BPL.
