Wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das delivered an outstanding performance with the bat in Bangladesh's recent series win against Pakistan. In both Tests, he batted with great responsibility, and in the second Test, he stood tall amidst the batting collapse to score a remarkable century.

Litton has expressed his desire to continue this responsible approach in future series.

"Naturally, I’ve been playing cricket for almost 9-10 years now. I have gained enough experience. Now is the time to take responsibility. If I don’t take it now, then when?" Litton said at a press conference today in Mirpur.

“Just because I’m saying it’s time to take responsibility, it doesn’t mean I have to do it in every match. I’m human, mistakes can happen.” he also added,

Bangladesh is aiming to maintain the winning momentum from the Pakistan series as they prepare to face India, a series Litton acknowledges will be challenging. Following the clean sweep against Pakistan, expectations from fans and supporters have risen.

“I think it motivates me. If you play well, your reputation grows, and more people will recognize you. There’s no bigger reward than that. India is a huge team. We’ve been doing well in Test cricket, and we need to maintain that consistency. It’s a big challenge for any player. If you perform well, you’ll definitely get praise.”

"We played excellent cricket against Pakistan, but that’s in the past now. We’ve gained some confidence from it. When we play India at home, they’re always a stronger side. I won’t say it won’t be challenging, but it won’t be easy either. In their conditions, they are a very good team, and if you look at their Test rankings, they are at the top. It will be a tough challenge for us." Litton further added.
