The 30th match of the T20 World Cup between Ireland and USA has been called off due to persistent rain at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill.
Co-host USA advanced to the Super-8 from Group A along with Rohit Sharma’s India after sharing a point with Ireland.
Pakistan who were relying on the result of the match have been eliminated from the tournament. Babar Azam's team has 2 points with a game left against Ireland. Even if they win, they can only reach 4 points, while the USA already has 5 points.
