Bangladesh team will face neighboring India and Netherlands for their warm-up games before the T20I World Cup, which will be held in the United States and West Indies.

ICC and BCB have not yet officially announced the schedule and opponents of the warm-up matches but a source confirmed Cricfrenzy on Friday.

Nazmul Hossian Shanto’s team will play their first warm-up game against the Netherlands, whom they will play in the group stage of the main event too, in Dallas on the 28th, while on the 1st June, the Tigers will meet India in New York.

Each team is required to play two official warm-up matches before other World Cups. But since this year's World Cup is being held in two different countries and because the cost of organizing matches and other expenses in the United States is very expensive.

For this reason ICC relaxed the requirement as a team can play a maximum of two warm-up matches if they want or they can also play one warm-up match if they want.

Bangladesh will have two group stage matches in the World Cup in the United States in Dallas, where they meet Sri Lanka and in New York they will face South Africa. So it will be a good conditioning campaign for the Tigers.

After the ongoing five match Zimbabwe T20I series, Bangladesh will fly to United States and play a three-match series against the United States team in Houston. The three matches will be on 21, 23 and 25 May.
