After hosting Sri Lanka A for three unofficial Tests and as many one-day matches, Bangladesh A will now face Ireland A in two limited-over series during their tour of Ireland.

The Bangladeshi side lost the unofficial Test series to Sri Lanka A 1-0 and the unofficial on-day series ended in a 1-1 draw after the third match got abandoned due to rain. However, they have no unofficial Tests to play against Ireland A and will face them in five one-dayers and three T20s.

Mominul will be leading the team in the 50-over format and the visiting side will play under Soumya Sarkar's stewardship in T20s.
