Nahida Akter and Sarmin Sultana have each been fined 10% of their match fees for Level 1 breaches of the ICC Code of Conduct during the second ODI of the ICC Women’s Championship series against Sri Lanka women's national cricket team.

Nahida breached Article 2.5 for an aggressive send-off after dismissing Chamari Athapaththu, while Sarmin violated Article 2.8 for showing dissent at an umpire’s decision.

Both players also received one demerit point each, their first offences in 24 months.

The charges were laid by match officials and accepted by the players without a formal hearing. Sri Lanka won the match to level the three-match series 1-1.
