The ticketing process for the highly anticipated fixture has already begun, around eight months before the match.
Lord’s announced on its official website yesterday that the public ballot for tickets to its 2027 international fixtures is now open, giving fans the opportunity to secure seats for the summer’s matches at the Home of Cricket.
The ballot will remain open until October 26. Successful applicants will be notified by email in early November and will have until November 17 to purchase their tickets. General ticket sales are scheduled to begin on December 10.
Bangladesh last toured England for a Test series in 2010.
After a 17-year wait, they are set to return to English soil for another Test, with Lord’s providing the stage for the historic occasion.
The two sides last met in a Test series in Bangladesh in 2016, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
Bangladesh also have fond memories of Lord’s. During the 2010 Test at the iconic venue, Tamim Iqbal scored his maiden Test century, reaching three figures off just 94 balls and producing one of the most memorable celebrations of his career.
Tamim, who now serves as president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), will have a different role when Bangladesh return to Lord’s in 2027.
