Pakistan continued to struggle against a dominant Bangladesh side in the second session of the Sylhet Test, as the hosts maintained control throughout the day.

Pakistan reached 200/5 at tea on Day 4, thanks to key breakthroughs from Taijul Islam and Nahid. The visitors still need 237 more runs to secure victory, while Bangladesh stand just five wickets away from a historic win.

A total of 27 overs were bowled in the second session between lunch and tea. Bangladesh claimed three crucial wickets during this period, while Pakistan managed to add 99 runs to the scoreboard.

Bangladesh dismissed Pakistan captain Shan Masood for 71 and Saud Shakeel for 6 in the session. Earlier, spinner Taijul Islam also removed Babar Azam for 47, just short of his half-century.

After losing five wickets for 162 runs, Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha attempted to stabilize the innings.

The pair have already built an unbeaten 38-run partnership for the sixth wicket, trying to keep Pakistan in the contest. Salman remains unbeaten on 25 off 27 balls, while Rizwan is batting on 15 off 26 deliveries.
