Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed is set to fly to Zimbabwe on Monday to take part in the inaugural edition of the Zim-Afro T10 League.
Taskin was roped into Bulawayo Braves for the tournament, this is the first overseas franchise league the bowler would take part.
Meanwhile, Mushfiqur Rahim has already left for Zimbabwe, he was signed by Joburg Buffaloes. Taskin and Mushfiqur are the only two cricketers from Bangladesh to play in the league.
The 28-year-old has been in good form, he took two wickets in the second T20I against Afghanistan to seal the series.
Five teams will compete against each other in the first-ever T10 Zim Afro. The league will feature- Bulawayo Braves, Cape Town Samp Army, Durban Qalandars, Harare Hurricanes, and Joburg Buffaloes.
The tournament will kick off on July 20, 2023, and will run till the 29th, with all the matches being played at the Harare Sports Club in Harare Zimbabwe.
