Rajshahi Division’s Mushfiqur Rahim, the experienced batter hit his 15th century in first-class cricket in the ongoing National Cricket League (NCL) after returning from knee injury.
Mushfiqur hit three figures on the second day of the match against Dhaka Metro at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Tuesday.
This is the first century in the NCL this year as Rajshahi Division is taking a big lead, thanks to the wicket-keeper batter's ton.
Mushfiqur's last match was on September 1, against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup. After retiring from international T20, he focused on preparing himself to return to the field through the National League.
But on September 17, the 35-year-old batter injured his knee while doing the gym. Due to that, he was ruled out of the first round match of the National League.
Apart from Mushfiqur, Tamim Iqbal is playing in the National League. However, he has not been able to do much for Chittagong so far.
