Yuvraj: Bangladesh has potential, but they need to be consistent

Indian legendary cricketer Yuvraj Singh stated that Bangladesh as a team has the potential but they failed to maintain consistency in mega events like T20 World Cup.
Bangladesh's major achievement in any ICC event was when they reached the semi-final of 2017's Champions Trophy which is still their highest success.
The 2020 Under-19 World Cup remains as the only global cricket trophy won by Bangladesh.
Bangladesh has proved themselves as a strong contender in their home series. where they have humbled cricket giants like Australia, New Zealand in recent years. However, their supremacy fades away when they take part in the major tournaments.
“There is potential in Bangladesh. Bangladesh is a very dangerous team. They have caused many upsets. However, to win the World Cup, you have to perform consistently. I don't see Bangladesh doing that. I believe they have that potential,” said Yuvraj.
Yuvraj also said he was thrilled about the most anticipated match between India and Pakistan scheduled on June 9.
“I am eagerly looking forward to it. Actually, I have never seen an India-Pakistan match live. I have played such matches and watched them on TV. This time, I will watch it live at the stadium,” he added.
