New Zealand batter Daryl Mitchell has been ruled out of the final match of the T20I series against Pakistan at Hagley Oval due to workload management.
All-rounder Rachin Ravindra has been added to the squad as a replacement. Mitchell withdrawn from consideration for selection for the dead rubber.
“Daryl is an important player for us across all three formats and ensuring he’s in the best place to perform in international cricket is vital," head coach Gary Stead said.
“Rachin is coming off a period of rest himself and will bring a valuable skill set to the group in this final match as he continues his return to cricket,” he added.
Devon Conway's availability will be announced on match day. The opener missed the fourth T20I in Christchurch after testing positive for Covid-19.
New Zealand are ahead 4-0 in the series, having dominated the touring Pakistan side so far.
