Laura Wolvaardt played a crucial role in guiding South Africa Women’s 8-wicket win over Bangladesh in the third T20I to level the series 1-1.
South African team comfortably chased down the target with eight wickets and 28 balls to spare.
Wolvaardt played an unbeaten knock of 49 runs off 49 balls and Sune Luus was the other unbeaten batsman for the Proteas, scoring 15 runs.
Only Marufa Akter and Shorifa Khatun managed to take a wicket each for Bangladesh, with Shorna Akter being expensive in her two overs.
Earlier, South African captain won the toss and chose to bowl first, and her bowlers didn't disappoint as they restricted Bangladesh to a modest total of 94-6 in their 20 overs.
Despite a valiant effort from Lata Mondal, who top-scored for Bangladesh with 42 runs from 62 balls Bangladesh failed to go past 100 runs.
Bangladesh managed to draw their first T20I series against the Proteas and the second T20I was washed out.
