Despite the 11th edition of the BPL set to begin tomorrow at 1:30 PM with a match between Fortune Barishal and Dhaka Capital, tickets have yet to be made available for purchase, either online or offline.

Some fans reported waiting for hours outside the stadium in hopes of securing physical tickets, only to find no arrangements in place. Frustration led a few protesters to attempt breaking through Gate-1, prompting intervention from police and Ansar personnel to disperse the crowd.

In addition to online sales, tickets will be available at designated branches of Modhumoti Bank and booths near the stadium.

The BCB had announced plans during an October 30 board meeting to implement a full-fledged e-ticketing system for this year’s BPL to enhance the ticketing process. According to a press release, tickets can now be purchased online at ‘www.gobcbticket.com.bd’

Physical tickets will also be sold from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM today and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM tomorrow.
