Delhi Capitals have roped in Australian top-order batter Jake Fraser-McGurk as the replacement of pacer Lungi Ngidi ahead of the start of IPL 2024.
Ngidi, who unfortunately won't be able to participate in the upcoming season due to a lower back injury. Ngidi appeared in 14 IPL matches and 25 wickets to his credit, will be missed.

The 21-year-old right-handed batter, touted by Delhi Capitals head coach Ricky Ponting as a potential all-format star for Australia, made his international debut last month, playing two ODIs at home against West Indies.

Fraser has played 37 T20s so far and strikes at 133.54.
Ngidi's absence means Delhi has Nortje, Mukesh, Ishant, Khaleel, Richardson, and Rasikh in the fast-bowling department, with Marsh also capable of bowling a few overs.
In a recent development, Delhi Capitals has announced that their regular capain Rishab Pant has been cleared to take part in the upcoming edition of IPL.
