However, he failed to attract any bids, much like in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Pakistan Super League (PSL) earlier this year. Shakib, who has been out of favor in Bangladesh cricket recently, is also unable to return home due to the country's political situation and has been absent from the national team.
Leg-spinner Rishad Hossain, who was picked in the PSL, had a base price of £63,000 but went unselected in The Hundred.

Three Bangladeshi players—Litton Das, Towhid Hridoy, and Sheikh Mehdi Hasan—were listed with a base price of £52,000 but found no takers.

The list included names like Nasum Ahmed, Aliss Al Islam, Ebadot Hossain, Afif Hossain, Soumya Sarkar, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, and Mohammad Saifuddin.
