England head coach Chris Silverwood has recently said that he has "no problem" in touring Pakistan for a T20I series if it can be managed prior to their scheduled visit to the sub-continental nation in 2022.
England have stopped touring Pakistan since 2005-06 owing to the security concerns but later the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has expressed their eagerness to visit the country in two years' time.
"For me, it's great that it's a topic of conversation again. We are looking to get back there," Silverwood told Sky Sports on the opening day of the first Test against Pakistan at the Old Trafford here on Wednesday.

"Personally, I'd have no problem going," he added.
Chris Silverwood further shared, "I've never been so it would be nice to go and have a look. And I know our batsmen are looking forward to batting on their wickets. We are getting there (in terms of planning)."
Silverwood's statement came after Pakistan Cricket Board CEO Wasim Khan has requested the ECB to consider sending a T20 team to Pakistan before their next scheduled tour in 2022. The two teams are currently playing the Test series, which started in Manchester on Wednesday.
International cricket has marked its return in England with the England-West Indies test series recently amid the global pandemic novel coronavirus. After having won the Test series by 2-1, England will try to win the current series as well.
The COVID-19 outbreak not only postponed or cancelled every sporting event across the globe but also claimed several lives by far. While nearly 18.8M people have been affected by the deadly virus around the world, almost 706K people have lost their lives as well.
