Bangladesh Women end World cup Campain without a win

Bangladesh women have ended their World Cup campaign empty-handed as they were thrashed Srilanka by nine-wicket in their last game at Melbourne today.
Bangladesh women has earlier lost their three matches of the group stage of the World Cup.
Bangladesh women team captain Salma Khatun has won the toss and decided to bat in their last game.
Bangladesh women were bundled out for only 91 runs in 20 overs. Except Nigar Sultana's 45-ball 39 there were no other notable contributors to the score. Nigar was run out in the last ball of the innings.

In reply, Sri Lanka women's side reached the target comfortably with 27 deliveries to spare. Hasini Perera remained unbeaten on a 53-ball 39 while other opener Chamari Atapattu struck a 22-ball 30 before she was the only wicket to fall. Anushka Sanjeewani (16) and Hasini ensured that Sri Lanka clinched the target without further loss of wickets.
This is the third consecutive time that the women's side has returned from a World Cup empty-handed without a single win.
