Bangladesh’s white-ball series against Afghanistan scheduled for next month, has been postponed,  informed by a reliable source of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to Cricfrenzy.

The series comprising three ODI's and an equal number of T20Is was scheduled to be held in Greater Noida venue, India. However, BCB expressed concern about the weather in that region of India during late July, noting that it wouldn't be ideal for international cricket due to the monsoon season, which typically runs from June to September.

The series had already been postponed once before in order to manage players' workload.

Bangladesh's next scheduled series is a two-Test tour in Pakistan starting mid-August, although the exact dates are yet to be announced.

In preparation, many of the Test players will participate in red-ball matches, including three internal games in Chattogram and Sylhet, followed by four four-day matches against Pakistan Shaheens in Darwin and later in Pakistan.
