We are better than this, says Nahida

Behind the big loss against strong Australia, Bangladesh women team’s vice captain Nahida Akhter blamed the haphazard bowling in the middle overs as Australia made 213 runs despite losing 5 wickets for 78 runs. Nahida thinks that their ability is more than this.
After that failure in bowling, the batting collapsed and the hosts lost the match by a huge margin of 118 runs. Vice-captain Nahida, who came to the press conference as the team's representative, explained the difference between two teams.
“If I say the difference (of the two teams) - the bowling has been bad. We can do better. And we went behind due to 2-3 run-outs during batting. In the middle they settled down, form a partnership. If it was broken earlier, the picture would have been different.” Nadia said.
Chasing a target of 214 runs, the pressure of losing 2 quick wickets in batting was handled a little but the collapse could not be prevented after 3 quick run outs.
“We just wanted to build partnerships. We had a message that the longer we stay, the easier the batting will be. I think Annabel (Sutherland) showed that very well. She came off the pitch in a tough time, faced first 30 balls with caution. Then you saw her playing with her hands open. On a pitch like that, you have to go down and do the hard work at the beginning, then you get the reward at the end.” she added.
