Former Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza has lauded the Bangladesh batter Najmul Hossain Shanto and the team for their maiden T20I win against New Zealand.
Mashrafe who is currently busy with the election campaign at Narail didn't miss the opportunity to congratulate the team for their five-wicket win against the Kiwis.
Mashrafe reckoned that Shanto has been through a lot of struggles and criticism in the early stage of his career which positively yielded the batter.
The former captain was confident that Shanto would continue to flourish in his career and will do great in the future.

“Yes, Obviously I’m happy. Though, I didn’t get the chance to watch the match. Congratulations to the team. It is excellent news for us,” said Mashrafe.
“Shanto is an extraordinary cricketer. He came through a lot of struggle so he has that experience. As he was successful in doing that he will do much better things in future,” he added.
