Taskin-Shoriful won’t be available for tomorrow’s IPL auction

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has confirmed that Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam will not be available for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) but special permissions have been granted to Mustafizur Rahman.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided that the official window for IPL will be from March 22 till the end of May as the mini-auction in Dubai at the Coca-Cola Arena is set to be held on Tuesday.
The BCB has informed the BCCI that "Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam, who have been listed for the auction, will not be available for the IPL 2024 edition."
BCB has stated that Mustafiz, who has the base price of INR 2 crore, can participate in the league from March 22 to May 11.
Only three Bangladesh players (including Mustafiz) had featured in the auction register from Bangladesh.
