The second T20I between the Bangladesh Women's team and their South African counterparts was unfortunately washed out due to persistent rain at Kimberly on Wednesday.
Bangladesh, aiming for their first-ever series victory against South Africa in any format on South African soil, had previously secured a 13-run victory in the first T20.

Leg-spinner Shorna Akter played a pivotal role, claiming a five-wicket haul to lead the team to a historic win and take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.

However, before the rain disrupted play, Bangladesh had been sent to bat first and reached 7-1, losing the wicket of Shamima Sultana, who contributed 3 runs.
Murshida Khatun, the top-scorer from the last match with an unbeaten 62, was at the crease with 2 runs, while Sobhana Mostary had yet to open her account.
The series-deciding third and final T20 is scheduled to take place tomorrow (Friday) at the same venue.
