“There has been a lot of talk about me. Actually, I didn't pay any heed to any criticism. I concentrated on my game. Alhamdulillah, the World Cup campaign went well. But I think, I have to do better in the future,” said Shanto.

Shanto believes their recent performances will boost confidence in the next 2024 World Cup which set to take place in USA and West Indies.

"Obviously, the way we played in this World Cup, I think it will give us confidence in the next World Cup. Although we had a big chance to do better in this World Cup. It will be borne in mind that we can do better in the next World Cup and we have two more years. So these two years we will prepare ourselves in a way that we can get better results in the next World Cup,”
