Soumya-Shoriful in, Sabbir-Saifuddin out from T20 WC squad

Bangladesh aim to flip script in second innings

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has made a last-minute change in the World Cup squad as Soumya Sarkar and Shoriful Islam have replaced Sabbir Rahman and Mohammad Saifuddin.
Left-handed batsman Soumya and left-arm paceman Shoriful Islam, originally on the standby list, have been promoted to the 15-player squad.
Sabbir and Saifuddin will return home from New Zealand where the Bangladesh team played a tri-nation series with the hosts and Pakistan.

The Bangladesh T20 World Cup side meanwhile, heads to Brisbane on Saturday where they will play two warm-up games against Afghanistan and South Africa on 17 and 19 October.
Shakib and team will open their World Cup campaign at Bellerive Oval in Hobart on October 24 against the runners-up from qualifying Group A.
