Bangladesh bowling coach Allan Donald asserted that the Tigers will continue to look for the best opening duo and the match against Pakistan will clarify the best individuals for the role.
Bangladesh have only two regular openers in the squad that includes Najmul Hossain Shanto and Litton Das. Other batters like Afif Hossain and Soumya Sarkar are also potential candidates for the role.

Soumya, who returned to T20Is after a long hiatus, played a knock of 23 off 17 against New Zealand but the southpaw was not named in the 15-man squad for the World Cup.
"I've only played the 50-over World Cups. We used to try a lot of match-ups against the new ball [leading up to the World Cups] to find the right top four. [Sridharan] Sriram is obviously looking at a lot of combinations right now. He will have one last look tomorrow to find the right guys for the opening position."
Donald, though, believes that Sriram is very close to finding out what the right combination would be in the World Cup.
"As a coach, it's difficult for you to tell which is the right combination. But I am sure he has in his head [the right duo]. You can ask how long this 'trial and error' will go on. But as a head coach, you have to go through this and find a solution and I think he is almost there," he added.
