Bangladesh stand-in captain Nurul Hasan Sohan was disappointed following their defeat against Pakistan in the Tri-nation series opener on Friday.
Bangladesh suffered a 21-run defeat against Pakistan in the first match of the Tri-nation series which was held at Hagley Oval, Christchurch.

Sohan captained the side as Shakib Al Hasan did not take the field after arriving late due to a visa-related issue in New Zealand.
"We are disappointed. The wicket was good and the bowlers did well. We need to improve in a few areas though," said Sohan.
Sohan stated that the wickets they lost in the middle of their innings were the main cause of losing the match. The Tigers lost four wickets in a quick succession between the 13th and the 15th over while 168 runs.
"Wickets in the middle while batting cost us. Litton and Yasir batted well, but as I said, we need to improve there," he added.
"Taskin bowled really well and we needed that but we should improve for the next match and World Cup as well," he added.
