"We have curators, assistant curators and head groundsmen from all over Bangladesh, who are associated with the wickets, who build these wickets throughout the year, who will attend the workshop."
BCB grounds committee manager explained the reason for bringing the expert from New Zealand to improve the field.
“In Bogra, we are maintaining the wickets like New Zealand. In New Zealand, they even practice during the rainy season. We will also take similar measures at Mirpur Indoor academy ground. It is almost at the final stage,”
“You will see in New Zealand that they can practice even in the rainy season. The shade stays, if necessary it moves, and closes. If such a system takes place, the cricketers will be able to practice throughout the year. That method will soon be implemented in Bangladesh. It was originally a Canadian company, they set up the system in New Zealand. We are making arrangements to bring it to Bangladesh with the help of the New Zealand Cricket Board from the same company" he added.
