The International Cricket Council (ICC) hailed Bangladesh's remarkable surge in the One-Day International (ODI) format at their most recent meeting, according to BCB CEO Nizam Uddin Chowdhury.
In their annual report, the world cricket governing body also recognized Bangladesh's ODI improvement.

The Tigers' ODI strength was demonstrated further in the ICC ODI Super League standings, where they presently sit second with 120 points from 18 matches. England is in first place with 125 points from the same number of matches.

"This is a great factor for us. It's obviously a great thing for Bangladesh cricket," Nizam Uddin said in Mirpur on Monday after returning to Bangladesh from the ICC meeting in England.
"Hopefully you see that how delightfully our ODI progress was highlighted in the ICC annual report. They highly praised our ODI team's performance and we are really proud of this" he added.
BCB CEO also stated Bangladesh is pleased to receive the matches in the upcoming FTP cycle that meet their needs.
"We came close to increase the number of the matches or reduce the number of matches as per our requirements. There was shuffling in one or two matches but hopefully we will overcome it."
