Fargana’s fifty in vain as Pakistan beat Bangladesh in WC warm-up match

Bangladesh women's team suffered another defeat in the Women’s World Cup warm-up match against Pakistan by 7 runs (D/L Method) at Lincoln, New Zealand.
Chasing 202 runs, Bangladesh women’s managed to score 194 before getting all-out.

Fargana Hoque top-scored for the side smashing 71 off 95 deliveries which featured six boundaries. Rumana Ahmed played a knock of 30 runs in 36 balls aided by three fours.
Fatima Sana bagged four wickets and Nashra Sandhu scalped three for Pakistan.
Earlier, Pakistan scored 199 for the loss of seven wickets in 42 overs, the target was set 202 for Bangladesh on D/L Method.
Javeria Khan and Aliya Riaz both missed the fifties for a small difference. Aliya was unbeaten on 45 and Javeria scored 44 off 62 with 5 fours. Skipper Bismah Maroof scored 32 off 44 in the middle.
Fariha Trisna and Ritu Moni took three wickets each for Pakistan.
