Khulna Tigers qualified for the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) play-offs, thrashing Comilla Victorians by 9 wickets in the high-voltage match on Saturday.

Andre Fletcher produced a blistering 101 to propel Khulna into the knockout stage. Khulna chased dowm the target of 183 runs in 18.4 overs. Top scorer Fletcher smashed 6 fours and as many sixes to score 101 in 62 deliveries.

Mahedi Hasan scored 74 runs off 49 balls with 6 four and 4 sixes to put on 182-run partnership with Fletcher for the opening stand.

Minister Group Dhaka have been eliminated from the BPL after Sylhet Sunrisers win against Comilla. Khulna will now take on Chattogram Challengers in the Eliminator, while Comilla will face Fortune Barishal in the first Qualifier.

Comilla posted 182 for five wickets in 20 overs while batting first. Faf du Plessis top-scored with 101 for the side, he struck 12 boundaries and three sixes to score his first BPL hundred.

Then, Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Mahidul Islam Ankon played brief innings of 31 and 20 in the middle.

Naveen ul Haq, Mahedi Hasan, Farhad Reza took one wicket each for Khulna.
