Bangladesh, the last champion in the under-19 World Cup, have finished World Cup 2022 in eighth place. Naturally, the fans are quite disappointed, the media did not stop covering the news.
The team's fitness coach Richard Stonier, who is famous as 'Pagla Bhai' in Bangladesh, was angry about the negative reactions as he had posted on Friday some blasting words towards the fan and media on his Instragram platform. However, he removed that ‘story’ from his page after a while in that day.
Stonier, who has also coached the World Cup-winning team, has explained his post and apologized for his language in the same platform today (Monday). The statement says:

“To clarify my post on Friday, I'll keep it brief and won't be mentioning it again. I am passionate about how hard WE as a team worked to reach the World Cup and only WE know the hard work and the sacrifices made,”
“Like us all, we have a limit and mine was reached on Friday. After receiving numerous negative messages, some of which life-threatening surrounding my job and the coaching staff on the performance of the Bangladesh boys, I reacted,
“I stand by my comments, of which were to stand by these boys and support them rather than knock them down,
“What l do regret is the language used, which came from the frustration of other people's negativity! This I apologies for,”
“I shall be taking me to reconnect with my family now I've returned back to the U.K so will be having a rest from social media. We are humans not machines with big hearts Thank you to all across Bangladesh,” finished Stonier.
