Shoriful-Taskin-Liton shortlisted with Shakib-Mustafiz for IPL auction

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 Player Auction list has been released Tuesday, with a total of 590 cricketers set to be auctioned in the two-day mega auction at Bengaluru on February 12 and 13, 2022.
A total of 370 Indian players and 220 overseas players will be up for grabs at IPL 2022 Player Auction in Bengaluru.
Amongst 590 players who have registered for the auction, 228 are capped players, 355 are uncapped players and 7 belong to Associate Nations.

A total of five Bangladesh players will be in the auction, shortlisted by BCCI on Tuesday as all-rounder Shakib al Hasan, pacer Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, wicket-keeper batter Liton Das and newly included left-arm bowler Shoriful Islam are on the list.
The 10 IPL franchisees Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Lucknow Super Giants, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Team Ahmedabad will also be bidding to have some of the biggest cricketing names like Faf du Plessis, David Warner, Pat Cummins, Kagiso Rabada, Trent Boult, Quinton de Kock, Jonny Bairstow, Jason Holder, Dwayne Bravo, Shakib Al Hasan, Wanindu Hasaranga, etc in their squad.
INR 2 crore is the highest reserve price and as many as 48 players have chosen to place themselves in this bracket.
Shakib and ‘The Fiz’ have got the highest reserve price, while Liton, Taskin and Shoriful have INR 50 lac for the upcoming auction.
