Bangladesh announces squad for Women’s World Cup Qualifier

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 16-member squad for the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier 2021 in Zimbabwe.


The women’s team will play a three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo as part of their preparation for the qualifier ahead of the World Cup.


The Bangladesh side will depart for Harare on Friday (October 5).

Bangladesh will play their first ODI on November 11, following that the remaining ODI’s will be played on November 13 and 15 respectively.


All the matches will be staged at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

Nigar Sultana Joty (Captain), Murshida Khatun, Nuzhat Tasnia, Fargana Hoque Pinky, Rumana Ahmed, Mst Ritu Moni, Nahida Akter, Salma Khatun, Jahanara Alam, Lata Mondol, Fahima Khatun, Mst Fariha Islam Trisna, Sharmin Akter Supta, Sobhana Mostary, Khadiza-Tul Kubra, Mst Shanjida Akther Maghla.
