Mushfiqur Rahim is labeled as “Mr. Dependable” of Bangladesh team in the moment of danger as he was also seen in that role on Sunday against Sri Lanka. He played 84 runs innings off 87 balls today.

Mushfiqur took the helm of the team after the departure of Liton Das and Shakib Al Hasan for 43 runs on board. Mushfiqur put on 56 runs partnership for the third wicket with captain Tamim Iqbal on the way to a big score.
After the dismissal of Tamim and Mohammad Mithun, he was moving towards a bigger partnership with Mahmudullah. But Mushfiqur returned to the dressing room when Isuru Udana caught the catch while playing a reverse sweep to Lakshan Sandakan during his 84 runs.
