Shakib-Mustafiz released from quarantine, begin practice today

Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman are all set to return to practice after completing their quarantined period. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) physician Manjur Hossain confirmed the matter to Cricfrenzy on Tuesday [May 18].
The duo was in quarantine after returning to the country from the Indian Premier League (IPL). According to the government rules, anyone returning from India has to stay in mandatory quarantine for 14 days.

However, Shakib-Mustafiz were released within 12 days as BCB had applied to the Ministry of Health to get them in the practice for the upcoming Sri Lanka series. As a result, they will be able to start practicing from today (Tuesday).

21 May 25"The government has given us verbal approval, not yet written. However, it was supposed to be received by last night.” Manjur told Cricfrenzy.
“Maybe for some other reason we haven’t received it yet. Hope to get it soon. However, we got the permission and Shakib and Mustafiz will start practicing from today.” He added.
The first ODI of the three-match series against Sri Lanka is to be played on 23rd May. The second and third ODI will be played on May 25 and May 28. The three day and night matches will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
