Bangladesh captain Mominul Haque said that if Bangladesh had got the opportunity to bat earlier, the result of the match would have been different.
Spinners, according to the captain, made a difference, but the Bangladesh team did not need any extra spinners. He argues that if Taijul Islam and Mehedi Hasan Miraj had done their jobs properly, Bangladesh would have done well.

"It looked a lot like (the wicket of the first Test). If we had batted earlier you would have seen a different situation. They might have been in our place. We would have been in their place today.”

“And these wickets don't take too many spinners. So we had very good quality spinners, I don't think we needed another spinner. I think two spinners are enough.”
Mominul thinks the toss was important for this match. The bowlers did not get any advantage from this wicket in the first two days.
“I think the most important thing in this Test match was the toss, in my view. First two days there wasn't anything for the bowlers. Almost 50% of the Test match was decided by the toss. Conditions are similar to Bangladesh, other than the humidity,” Momiul added.
