Destructive Shamim eyes to be a 'finisher'

Batting all-rounder Shamim Hossain Patwari has performed brilliantly with the bat for Bangladesh emerging team and helped to seal victory in two consecutive matches against Ireland Wolves as his main goal is to become a complete game finisher and wants to guide Bangladesh national team to success.
The left-arm batsman ensured the victory of the Emerging Team by scoring an unbeaten 53 off 39 balls in the second ODI against Ireland Wolves in Chittagong. Then in the third match, he scored 44 off 25 balls smashing 7 fours and 1 six.
While speaking to the media he said, “My position in batting is number six. I want to finish anyway possible and take the team forward. That’s my goal.”

Bangladesh lead the series by 2-0, however the first ODI was abandoned after 30 overs of play, as one of the Irish player, Ruhan Pretorious was subjected to coronavirus. The prodigy wants to win the upcoming match too in Mirpur.
“First of all, we have a good team. Since we won the first two matches, we are ahead of them. We want to win tomorrow's [Friday] match too,” he added.
Shamim’s side will take on Ireland Wolves in the fourth match of the five-match ODI series on Friday.
