Bangladesh U-19 team will visit India on March 15 instead of March 10 to play a bilateral series against Afghanistan U-19 team in their home ground India’s Noida. The arrival of the Afghan team in India will be delayed due to corona and related rules and regulations, is the reason of rescheduling.

BCB National Game Development Manager Abu Imam Mohammad Kaiser confirmed the matter to the media on Sunday.

"The series is in Noida, India, the home venue of Afghanistan, but the Afghanistan U-19 team has to go there following all the rules. Due to this they are getting there a little late. We hope to go to India to play the series on the 15th” he said.

Bangladesh will play five ODIs in this series against Afghanistan with a four-day match.

Before winning the 2020 Under-19 World Cup, U-19 played a total of 36 matches at home and abroad. BCB plans to host at least 30 matches for the new U-19 team this time. In the part of the plan Bangladesh U-19 team will play against Pakistan in home and will tour England in the middle of this year.
