In 2009, Kemar Roach the right-arm pacer made his debut against Bangladesh. Roach thinks this is what gives him emotional confidence when he visits Bangladesh. The West Indies team is relatively inexperienced as the number of high-profile players, including Test skipper Jason Holder, have withdrawn their name from the Bangladesh tour. However, in just eight tests Roach took 33 wickets at an average of 19.78 against Bangladesh.

The pacer said, “Bangladesh squad is always difficult for fast bowlers, you have to be quite aggressive on the field if you want to attack the opposing batsmen.” He also said that the pacers have a job to do and will help the team execute their plans if they can implement the tactics properly.

If we can do that, we can obviously execute our plans better. We have been planning well and having conversations with the bowling coach so we know what we want to do. Things are in motion and we're looking forward to the series."
