Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is currently using a new type of sophisticated software to know the updates of the overall health condition of the players.
BCB Chief Physician Dr Debashis Chowdhury made this revelation to Cricfrenzy.com over the phone yesterday.
Chowdhury said they, the BCB medical department, are monitoring players and taking their feedback about their overall health condition on a regular basis by the software.

The pacers and batters were wheezing after finishing their 25-minute running drill at the National Cricket Academy of the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur during the six-day initial training module.
But Dr Debashis said it’s not an indicator to judge them as weak or fatigue because there are some clear indicators to determine it.
He also said fatigue is not a matter of watching for which they have some indicators to measure it.
“It’s not a matter of watching. You have to measure the fatigue. Players are connected to ‘Age-10 Software’, where they give feedback every day. There are some markers of fatigue—how they sleep, how their sleep quality is and how their heartbeat is after getting up from sleep in the morning,” Dr Debashis Chowdhury said.
“We’ve made a routine for the next six days where we have five sessions for someone or six or more sessions for someone in the routine. Bowlers focus on bowling related fitness, while batters are batting with running from where they gained fitness along with skills. We’ll work for bowlers for their batting fitness,” BCB Chief Physician added.
