Bangladesh Cricket Board official said on Wednesday that they had postponed their planned three-match T20 series against New Zealand in October due to the postponement of the ICC World T20.
‘’There is no possibility of that series against New Zealand because we have adjusted the series against the Kiwis considering ICC T20 World Cup in mind. As the World Cup is now postponed, there is no viability of that series,” BCB cricket operation chairman Akram Khan told Cricfrenzy over phone on Wednesday.

BCB had planned earlier to visit New Zealand for three T20’s ahead of the global tournament as part of preparation but had to change their mind as ICC decided to postpone the tournament and reschedule it in 2021.
It is understood BCB will opt to visit New Zealand next year provided ICC WT20 is played down under otherwise it will not be case as this series was planned to be a preparation for the tournament in Australia.
“We can’t go there for only the three-match T2I series. Of course, we will sit after Eid to discuss the matter in detail,” he said.
‘’The team will tour New Zealand next year in coordination with the World Cup,’’ he said.
