After a shaky start from the BCB XI, top-order batsman Tanzid Hasan Tamim and captain Al Amin Jr hit unbeaten centuries for their team against Zimbabwe in the second day of the practice match at BKSP Savar 3 ground.

  BCB  XI scored 288 /5 in their first innings and the match was drawn as it was a two-day practice match.

Zimbabwe had earlier scored 291/7 in their first innings.

Tanzid Hasan Tamim and AL Amin jnr shared a 219 runs partnership for the sixth wicket after BCB X1 were relying on 69 runs for five wickets.

Tamim who was part of the under 19 team success in South Africa played aggressively in his innings.He faced only 99 balls to score 125 runs .H e smashed 14 fours and five sixes.

Al Amin Jr gave him good support in the partnership and played a captain innings for his team.he brought up his hundred from 145 balls and hit sixteen fours.

BCB XI struggled with the bat losing five wickets in the first session. BCB XI lost wickets in regular intervals with Carl Mumba making early inroads after removing Mohammad Naim for eleven. Bangladesh's only centurion in the recently-concluded U-19 World Cup in Mahmudul Hasan Joy was next to go, falling to Charlton Tshuma.

Shahdat Hossain departed soon to Ainsley Ndlovu before the left-arm further derailed BCB XI with the wicket of Parvez Hossain Emon, who had offered some resistance during 66-ball 34.

U-19s' World Cup-winning captain Akbar Ali managed only one as BCB XI lost their fifth. Captain Al Amin jr. and Tanzid Hasan Tamim took BCB XI to lunch without further loss of wickets.
