Tamim stars as East Zone Defeat Central Zone by an innings

After getting the highest individual score by any Bangladeshi player Tamim Iqbal team Islami Bank team east zone defeated Walton Central Zone by an innings and nine runs at the first-round game of Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Monday.
At the end of day, three Central Zone reached 115-3, still trailing by 227 runs to make East Zone batting for the second time. Central Zone earlier was bowled out for 213 in its first innings.
Central zone scored 333 runs in the second innings
Coming on day four Mohammed Mithun has made good contributions with the bat in the central zone in the second innings. Mohammed Mithun scored 83 runs with help of 10 fours and one six.

Taibur Rahman scored 62 runs as well central zone. He has to retire hurt as well for hamstring injury before coming to bat again.
Nayeem Hasan was the main destroyer for the central zone innings in the second innings. He ended up taking 6 wickets in the second innings of the match. Taijul Islam also took two wickets in the second innings after taking five wickets in the first innings.
