Bangladesh Cricket Board is alleged of maintaining a   double-standard while addressing issues about their foreign coaches employed in the national set-up.

It was first exposed nakedly during the time of Chandika Hathurusingha when the Sri Lankan took the board on a ride by forcing them to fulfill all their demands.

BCB recently decided to part ways with their long serving Sri Lankan strength and conditioning coach Mario Villavarayan when he approached the board to give him a window to join for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League after receiving a offer by the franchise to work for them for the next three years.

According to BCB chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury, Mario wanted to stay and just wanted a leave during the IPL but BCB did not agree as they have T20's against Ireland at that point of time.

"We have three years agreement with Mario and he had to work full time with the national cricket team," Chowdhury said.

"He is looking forward to work in the IPL but we cannot allow any of our full time coaching staff to work in IPL as we can have series or camp at that point of time. So we decided to part ways on mutual understanding,'' he said.

However, BCB is not following the same stance regarding national team’s Indian computer analyst Shrinivas Chandrasekaran despite including him in the pay-roll structure recently that implies he is employed on full time basis as he is allowed to work in the IPL from the start of his arrival in the national dressing room.

‘’BCB had earlier allowed Srini to join IPL as he was working on contractual day-to-day basis but that is not the case now as he is full time employer of the board,’’ said an independent cricket observer of Bangladesh on request of not to be named.

‘’But if they allow him to join IPL as well as work with Tigers then why  they refused Mario’s as both will be working for Sunrisers Hyderabad,’’ he said.
