BCB women’s wing head Nadel Chowdhury said that they are surprised to learn that women’s cricket teams coach Anju Jain is going to take charge of the senior women’s team of an Indian state team Baroda Cricket Association.
Anju and her assistant Devika Palshikar, both are joining BCA, reported TOI and she was quoted by the same agency as
‘’I will be joining the Baroda women’s team as soon as I get guidelines from BCA’, said Anju.

Nadel said that they are not informed about the development but added it was inevitable.
‘’She did not inform us anything about it. She went to India after coming back from Australia. In the meantime, due to corona virus outbreak we could not start practice or any activities. But we did not know that she is going to join another place,’’ said Nadel when his attention was drawn regarding the matter.
‘’Her contact with us was up to March. We were considering the performance of the World Cup. She must have felt that chances are slim of extending her contract and so she decided to leave,’’ he said.
‘’As the contract ended she was there was nothing like resigning from the post or things like that,’’ he said.
Bangladesh women’s team failed to win a single match in the ICC women’s T20 world cup this year.
