Tamim is the right person for ODI Captaincy: Mushfiqur Rahim

Bangladesh wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim said that Tamim Iqbal is the right man to captain Bangladesh in one day international and has backed him to do well.
Tamim Iqbal has been appointed as the next to one day captain for Bangladesh after Mashrafe Mortaza has decided to step down as captain of Bangladesh in the recently concluded Zimbabwe series.
Bangladesh will have three different captains in three different formats of the game which is a rare thing in the world cricket as most teams have two captains for three formats.
Mushfiqur Rahim has said he has no special advise for Tamim as they all have played under him before
‘’ I think he is the right person to lead Bangladesh in one day cricket as I have no special advice for Tamim Iqbal. We have played under him before and captaincy is a very tough thing. We are playing together for the last 15-20 years together ‘’Mushfiqur said in the reunion event at BKSP.
Mushfiqur Rahim also told that Tamim is playing pretty well and should take Bangladesh cricket forward with his captaincy.
‘’Tamim is playing really well for the last couple of years and he should take our team forward with his leadership. Captaincy is a challenging thing but he is the right man to take the challenge’’ remarked Mushfiqur.
