Central zone all out for 213 runs against East zone

Bangladesh test spinner Taijul Islam grabbed five-wicket for east zone and put his team into a reasonable position against Central zone in the first round of Bangladesh cricket league matches at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. 


Earlier on the day Islami Bank East Zone won the toss and elected to field first.


Taijul Islam took all the middle order wickets and made Central zone took upper hand in their innings.


Walton Central zone had a reasonable opening partnership between Saif Hasan and Saumyo Sarker .they had a 46 runs partnership in the opening stand in which Saumyo scored 36 runs himself.

Test hopeful Saif Hasan was the highest score for the Walton central zone team.He scored 58 runs but batted almost for the whole innings. He faced 214 deliveries to score those runs.He hit 5 fours and two sixes in his innings.


Taibur Rahman Parvez scored a breezy 46 runs off 60 balls while Sohrawordi Shuvo scored 31 runs for Walton Central zone.


Abu Jayed Chowdhury Rahi and Naeem Hasan took two wickets each for east zone.
